Job Description

Industrial Maintenance We are in prominent partnership with a local wire manufacturing company in Lasalle, IL for Industrial Maintenance technicians. They are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance. We are seeking a highly motivated career focused Industrial Maintenance Technician that is going to be dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about getting things done and helping to improve our process. The successful candidate will have knowledge of mechanical power transmission components, including gear boxes, timing belts, V- Belt drive systems, chain and sprocket drive systems and mechanical couplings, bearings and bushings along with some basic building maintenance experience. 10-hour/12-hour shifts (1st shift) Hours may range from 6AM-7PM Starting at $22 (Based on experience)
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED Requirement Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Knowledge of OSHA Safety Procedures Ability to troubleshoot problems on their own Ability to collaborate with co-workers, supervisors and managers Basic Machine Shop Skills including the operation of various power tools Experience with Power Transmission, Gear Boxes, Pullies, Belt and Chain Drives & Bearings Basic Welding experience preferred but not required Requirements Must be able to work 12-hour shifts Experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Ability to meet the physical requirements, such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods (12 hours) Must be able to lift 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation Adhere to quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Must be able to follow and lead safety standards and practices Peoplelink, LLC, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of 'linking' communities through employment.
