Job Summary Keep the wheels turning — literally. As a Railroad Mechanic, you'll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of equipment including trucks, track machines, and hi-rail gear. You'll work both in-shop and in the field, supporting crews across the region. Duties Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, and electrical issues Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections Maintain service logs and parts inventory Respond to field calls and get equipment back up fast Support DOT/FRA complianceequirements. Experience 2+ years of mechanic experience (diesel, heavy equipment, or rail preferred) CDL-A preferred Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Must be organized, self-motivated, and safety-driven Pass DOT and FRA drug/alcohol screening
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
