at Westfield Town Office in Westfield, Maine, United States Job Description The Town of Westfield is seeking two candidates for the Public Works Department. This is a Part-time seasonal position; Pay would be addressed upon submitting the application. The responsibilities include but are not limited to all winter and road maintenance, nights, weekends, and holidays. The job includes operating town equipment, manual labor, hand tools, power equipment, and minor maintenance of vehicles. The position requires moderate physical effort involving long periods of standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, and occasional lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various types of weather conditions, temperatures, and capable of working a long duration of hours. The successful candidate must possess a valid Class II Maine motor vehicle operator's license; must pass drug and alcohol screening tests, which are performed before hiring and randomly during employment.
