The prospective individual will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, quality control and unscheduled maintenance, and repair of emission systems within laboratory. The prospective candidate should have dynamometer/chassis test and /or analytical & sampling system repair experience.
The position duties will include:
Test Site Maintenance Execute Preventive Maintenance and Site Repairs on a regular basis Assist vendor support when warranted Inventory consumables & spare parts necessary to maintain the operation Maintain daily site status log Support a three shift operation Support power-train emissions development, U.S. Certification, Homologation, & Vehicle Engineering (VE) problem resolution Support the development of new equipment / test methodologies required to meet new emissions and fuel economy requirements Additional assignments as necessary to deliver corporate objectives Cross-function as required within multiple laboratories
Basic Requirements:
High School diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in emission laboratory maintenance and site repair
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of basic chemistry Proven experience with data analysis Knowledge of analytical & sampling systems Knowledge of diesel testing process Ability to analyze and solve system issues.
