Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Transload Operator and become a vital part of our logistics and transportation operations! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently transferring bulk agricultural commodities between different modes of transportation, primarily rail and truck, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely handling of cargo. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with safety regulations, streamline operations, and support the seamless movement of goods across our network. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as conveyor belts, augers, tractors, and railcar movers to load and unload feed and grain safely and efficiently Manage train operations including coupling, uncoupling, and switching railcars according to established procedures Follow all transportation safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to hazardous materials handling protocols Conduct safety inspections on equipment, tools, and work areas to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety training programs Maintain accurate documentation of cargo movements, logs, and inspection reports in accordance with regulatory compliance standards Follow train track rules procedures to ensure safe passage of trains through designated areas Participate in ongoing safety training programs to stay current with industry best practices and regulatory updates Experience Prior experience working with grain and feed operations or rail transportation is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance Familiarity with hand tools used in equipment repairs and adjustments Knowledge of transportation safety regulations, including hazardous materials regulations and rail regulatory compliance standards Experience working in environments that require strict adherence to safety protocols and train operation regulations Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery safely while following all safety training program participation requirements Join us in delivering excellence through safe, efficient logistics! Pay:
$26.00 - $31.00 per hour
