Job Title Marina Operator Purpose The purpose of this position is to handle the day-to-day operations of the on water marina, and dry storage facility. Roles and Responsibilities -

Marina Maintenance:

All areas of the facility are to be kept clean and orderly at all times. Any necessary repairs, especially those related to safety are to be carried out in a timely manor. Specific items related to marina maintenance include, but are not limited to: maintaining restroom and shower facilities, empty trash and recycling containers, maintain docks, repair electrical/plumbing receptacles, maintain and grade parking/ driveway area. -

Customers:

Tend to the needs of marina and storage customers. This can include pumping gas, ship store sales, etc. -

Vessel Moving:

Operate Travelift, haul, block and launch vessels. This is to always be carried out with safety being the highest priority. Care always need to be taken so as not to damage vessels or marina property. -

Vessel Maintenance:

Pressure wash and paint vessel bottoms. -

Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain marina equipment, including Travellift, forklifts, etc. This includes checking fluid levels weekly and topping off as necessary, and carrying out routing maintenance such as oil changes, fueling, greasing, cleaning, belt tension/ replacement, check tire pressure and reporting deficiencies/repairs beyond your capability to Marina owners. -

Winter Preparation:

Remove docks from water and store for winter. While docks are removed from the water, they are to be cleaned, inspected and repairs as necessary. Special attention need to be given to safety concerns.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
