We are seeking an experienced Transmission R&R Technician to join a clean, organized automotive transmission and performance shop. The shop primarily works on GM and Ford vehicles , but also services a variety of other makes and models. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience removing and replacing/reinstalling automotive transmissions and be comfortable working independently in a professional shop environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Remove and replace/reinstall automotive transmissions. Properly disconnect and reconnect transmission-related components. Assist with transmission-related repairs and service. Work primarily on GM and Ford vehicles , along with other makes and models. Safely use automotive tools and shop equipment. Move and position vehicles as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow proper shop procedures and safety practices. Assist other technicians with general automotive duties when needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous hands-on transmission R&R experience required . Experience removing and replacing transmissions in a professional automotive shop. GM and Ford experience preferred. Basic understanding of automotive drivetrain and transmission components. Must have your own basic mechanic hand tools . Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license required. Able to perform physical work and lift automotive components as required.

Pay:

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
