Job Description

Immediate Hire! $31-34 DOE Compactor Mechanic Apply, interview, get hired! Re Conserve of Washington, Inc. - Tacoma has over 80 years of experience -- is the largest, most experienced recycler of bakery, cereal grain, snack foods, and related food by-products in the United States. We provide sanitary, efficient removal and recycling services to the food and feed manufacturing industries nationwide. Re Conserve is experiencing consistent growth and is now looking for a full-time motivated Compactor Mechanic. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing company-owned hydraulic compactor systems at local customer facilities. These compactor systems collect bakery waste, which is brought to the plant for processing for animal feed. We are looking for an individual who can operate in a safe manner and who wants to be part of an organization that values integrity, respect, teamwork, and good old-fashioned hard work.
Qualifications:
Aptitude with electrical and hydraulic systems (similar to forklifts) Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic drawings Willing to be on call for emergency repairs of equipment at customer sites Ability to weld and perform some fabrication Must be able to complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen Must complete a criminal back ground check Must have clean driving record (motor vehicle report will be ran) Background & employer verification is required
  • Work Schedule:
    6 AM to 2 PM, This Monday to Friday shift schedule;
  • Days off - Sat & Sun;
  • 5 days work, full-time work schedule Overtime required on an as needed basis; 401(k) plan with company match; Health Insurance, Dental and Vision insurance available; Health Savings Accounts; Paid Vacation and Holidays; High school diploma or GED degree or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; You must have reliable transportation to be available for work 24/7; Clean driving record; Background & employer verification is required;
Pay:
$31.00 - $34.00 per hour
