Job Details Job Summary:
The Assistant - Terminal will provide admin support to the operations personal as well as terminal leadership. This schedule will vary depending upon the business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and distribute reports as directed by center leadership. Proactively updating TMW with notes on all notifications received from Extended Services. Freight tracking multiple times daily. Reviewing and assisting with compliance events coming due. Compile safety reports and documentation for the DOS team. As needed, answering phones and responding to general driver questions. Paperwork rescanning, and responding to missing paperwork emails from billing. Provide back up for DOS as needed. Additional Voluntary Benefits Requirements Skills and Abilities:
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with DOT Requirements, CSA expectations and Safety procedures. Ability to travel multiple times per year as needed for training and career development purposes Highly proficient computer skills must be comfortable using a computer and various software programs.
Education and Experience:
2+ year's truck transportation industry experience. Additional Job Information Regulatory Responsibility/Impact Work with the maintenance team on a daily basis to ensure all tractors are in a high level of repair and in full compliance to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all QC compliance standards. Ensure all monthly on-line safety training is completed and work with drivers and safety to assign other needed refreshers as driver performance dictates. Verify all tractor profiles are accurate including both presence and working condition of equipped accessories.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
