Production Control Manager for Aerospace Manufacturing Co. -- Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Control Manager to oversee and coordinate production activities within our aerospace manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading production planning, scheduling, and process improvements to ensure efficient operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in production management systems, and excellent cross-functional communication to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines in a fast-paced aerospace environment. -- Duties Lead and manage production teams to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to safety protocols. Develop, implement, and oversee production planning strategies to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. Utilize production management systems to monitor workflows, track progress, and identify areas for improvement. Create and maintain detailed production schedules that align with project timelines and capacity constraints. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and other departments to facilitate seamless communication across functions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and delivery performance. Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production needs. Prepare reports on production status, issues, and improvement initiatives for senior management. -- Requirements Proven experience in production control or manufacturing management within the aerospace industry or similar high-tech sectors. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of production planning methodologies and scheduling techniques. Experience with advanced production management systems (ERP/MRP software preferred). Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements that increase efficiency and quality. Excellent communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities. Knowledge of aerospace industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
