In this vital role, you will oversee freight movement, dispatch drivers, and ensure timely delivery schedules while maintaining clear communication across multiple channels. Your expertise in transportation management systems, data entry, and logistics will drive efficiency and support our supply chain operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our night operations, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Dispatch drivers efficiently using transportation management systems such as eModal, Termpoint, other website used by the port of LA and Long Beach. Monitor GPS and GIS data to track fleet locations, optimize routes, and respond swiftly to any issues or delays. Communicate clearly with drivers, carriers, and internal teams through multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Enter accurate data related to shipments, dispatch logs, and freight details into relevant systems with high typing accuracy. Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements in transportation planning and logistics operations. Collaborate with 3PL providers and internal departments to resolve shipping issues promptly and maintain high service standards. Qualifications Experience working with GPS tracking, GIS mapping tools, and transportation planning software. Excellent analysis skills for evaluating freight movements, fleet performance, and supply chain efficiency. Proven dispatching experience in a logistics or transportation environment. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally. Knowledge of freight shipping & receiving procedures, fleet management practices, and logistics operations. Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple priorities effectively.
