Job Description

Quality Inspector:
We are looking to hire a full-time Quality Inspector with an opening on first shift 7:00 - 3:30 Monday thru Friday.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five years of most recent inspection experience Expert in blueprint reading and GD&T Strong organizational skills. Must keep workspace clean and orderly Familiar with ISO/AS Quality systems, NADCAP and various aerospace and commercial aircraft quality/process control systems. Knowledge of FAA procedures is preferred but not mandatory. Candidate must be punctual
Responsibilities:
Must be able to read and comprehend complex blueprints & drawings Programming knowledge of measurement machinery to efficiently and accurately measure parts, fixtures, and gauges. Manual CMM set up and operation, Vision System a plus Measures parts according to specifications, including GD&T specifications Perform routine testing on product in process or finished product Inspect parts visually for defects Perform detailed inspection to determine quality of product and communicate with manager when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or product is of poor quality Maintain a clean and organized work area, adheres to company policy and safety and environmental standards Proficient in Quality Systems AS9100 and ISO reporting. Examine materials and goods through visual, testing or other means, as received, in-process and post-production. Examine and audit internal processes to determine conformity to international and industry standards, efficiency and opportunities for improvement through application of lean manufacturing techniques. Willingness and ability to learn, implement, supervise and manage advanced quality methods, including advanced quality systems, statistical process control and similar. Ability and willingness to assist in the proper sourcing of new supply chains and in their ongoing development. Aircraft Welding & Mfg. LLC is an Equal Opportunity employer.
