We are hiring for:
Part-time full-time on call
The Job:
A traffic control technician or flagger is responsible for directing vehicles and pedestrians in and around a construction site. Flagger certification is not required to apply, we can certify you!
Job Description:
Set up and take down cones, signs, and other traffic control devices around roadwork or construction zones. Help direct vehicles and pedestrians safely through work areas. Communicate with members of the public and others at the job site. Follow all safety rules and instructions to keep yourself and others safe. Work closely with your team and site supervisors to keep traffic flowing smoothly. Keep equipment clean, organized, and ready for the next job.
Work Location:
New Haven County Hartford County Fairfield County Litchfield County Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites. Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in all types of weather. Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs and working around traffic. Willing to complete traffic control/flagger certification training (provided if needed). Dependable, safety-minded, and able to follow directions well.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Flagger certification (ATSSA, National Safety Council, or other CT Approved flagger program) OSHA 10 or 30 preference is given to candidates who are already certified Drivers license and a vehicle is preferred
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
