Service Patrol Operator - Jacksonville First Coast Road Rangers - 3.6 Jacksonville, FL Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications 1 year Entry level Full Job Description Service Patrol Operator - Jacksonville Area Position Summary First Coast Road Rangers is seeking dedicated and safety-focused individuals to join our Traffic Incident Management team as Service Patrol Operators. Operators are responsible for responding to traffic incidents, disabled vehicles, roadway hazards, and other emergencies to help keep Florida's highways safe and moving efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Respond to traffic crashes, disabled vehicles, and roadway incidents. Assist law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency response personnel. Coordinate with FDOT maintenance crews during incident response activities. Establish and maintain safe work zones around incidents. Provide motorist assistance, including: Tire changes Jump starts Fuel assistance Safely remove disabled vehicles from travel lanes. Perform debris removal. Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude while assisting the motoring public. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Clear criminal background check. Must successfully pass a drug screening. Ability and willingness to work overtime when required. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, cold, and other environmental conditions. Minimum of one (1) year of driving experience required. Schedule Full-Time Day, Night and Weekend Shifts available Must work holidays if they fall within your scheduled workdays. Must work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) if scheduled.
