At Traffic Protection Solutions we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of roadways and construction zones. We are looking for a reliable and responsible Traffic Control Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong attention to detail, and is looking to build a career in traffic control and safety management. Job Duties- Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices.
- Direct traffic using stop/slow paddles.
- Communicate via two-way radio with team members.
- Transport and maintain traffic control equipment using company vehicles.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Work outdoors in varying weather and traffic conditions.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements
- Valid Driver's License. Clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand/walk up to 4 to 8 hours at a time.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
- Excellent attendance, reliable transportation, and strong work ethic.
- Complete Basic Flagger and Driver training.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
