Master Control Operator PT Weekend Overnight WMBCTV Caldwell, NJ Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer literacy Full Job Description NJ TV broadcaster seeking a dependable, tech-savvy Part-Time Weekend Overnight Master Control Operator . This is an excellent opportunity for college students, recent graduates, or anyone interested in broadcasting, media, or technology. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to remain focused while monitoring multiple television channels during overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
Monitor multiple television channels to ensure uninterrupted on-air operation Operate Master Control equipment during automated and live broadcasts Ingest, segment, and prepare media for air Identify and respond to technical issues as they occur Maintain accurate operational logs Communicate with engineering staff when necessary Perform additional Master Control duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Comfortable using computers and learning new technology Experience with both Windows and Mac computers is a plus Basic video editing experience is helpful but not required Broadcast, studio production, or media experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision Dependable and punctual College degree is not required . Relevant coursework, technical training, or current enrollment in a college broadcasting, communications, media, or technology program is welcomed.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKEND OVERNIGHT SHIFTS.
