1st Shift A day in the life Start your shift reviewing preventive maintenance tasks and safety checks. Move from a controls cabinet where you're tracing a fault to a motor starter, to a production line where a sensor failure needs rapid diagnosis. Later, you'll pull new conduit for a piece of test equipment, update drawings, and restore lighting in a high-bay area—all while coordinating with operations to minimize downtime.
