Beverage Cart Worker Seasonal

Performs duties to include, but not limited to, safely driving beverage cart throughout golf course and delivering beverages to golfers. Takes payments and makes correct change. Assists Grille Worker and Operator in the performance of their duties. Maintains clean and safe working conditions in and around the beverage cart. Responsible for keeping tips and payments separate. Maintains proper and professional etiquette and appearance. Requests supplies as needed to immediate supervisor. Assists in upkeep of the facility as needed. Works at tournaments and outings as needed. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and/or holidays. Must be able to handle public relations issues in a tactful manner. Must be able to work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Other duties as assigned. High school graduate preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid, current driver's license with a safe driving record. Experience in handling, collecting, and distribution of money is preferred. Must be aware of driving safety and other rules that apply on a golf course. Knowledge & experience in food service operations preferred. Must possess strong communication skills, verbal and written. Must possess strong skills in Customer Service. Ability to communicate well with supervisors and golf course staff. Must be self-motivated; a self-starter. Ability to work with tournament groups and events on catering needs.

Physical Demands:

Driving, prolonged standing, walking, and/or bending. Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Equipment Used:

Beverage cart, telephone, copier, fax machine, computer, vacuum cleaner, cash register, credit card machine, calculator, ladder, mop, and broom.
