VALET PARKING SUPERVISORS
to assist in leading our friendly and efficient parking team for a busy hotel in the Buena Park area.Position Summary:
The Valet Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day parking operation during their assigned shift. The Supervisor owns the driveway operation, ensuring traffic moves safely and efficiently; the drive remains organized and presentable, and work is delegated appropriately among all personnel. The Supervisor serves as an extension of the Assistant Parking Manager and/or Site Manager and must carry themselves accordingly. While running the operation, they are expected to lead by example, make sound operational decisions, maintain accountability, and ensure all team members follow APS policies, procedures, and service standards. The Supervisor also assists with employee training, coaching, shift communication, and enforcement of the guidelines outlined in the APS Team Member Handbook.Position Requirements:
Prior valet and supervisory experience Ability to lead, delegate, and communicate effectively Ability to operate manual-transmission vehicles Valid California driver's license Clean California driving record Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including assisting guests with luggage Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods Ability to work effectively in a team environment Professional appearance, conduct, and communication at all times Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentPosition Responsibilities Include:
Take ownership of the driveway and maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient flow of vehicles and pedestrians. Maintain an active leadership presence on the driveway by remaining alert, attentive, and engaged in the operation. Ensure parking personnel remain properly posted, maintain professional body language, and do not stand with their hands in their pockets. Monitor driveway conditions and make immediate adjustments to prevent congestion, delays, safety concerns, or disruptions to hotel operations. Oversee all shift operations and provide clear direction, coaching, and support to parking personnel. Ensure that the proper level of guest service is consistently delivered by all team members. Respond professionally to guest concerns and escalate incidents or complaints to management when necessary. Ensure all vehicles are handled in accordance with APS safety and security procedures. Ensure that all electronic devices are properly secured in the vehicle's glove box. Ensure valet runners close all windows, lock all doors, and properly secure each vehicle. Ensure key audits and garage audits are conducted accurately, documented, and completed daily. Coordinate shift changeovers and ensure thorough communication between outgoing and incoming supervisors and personnel. Communicate all operational concerns, incidents, pending vehicles, keys, staffing matters, and guest issues during shift transitions. Assist with the training and development of new and existing personnel. Hold team members accountable for following APS policies, uniform standards, safety procedures, and service expectations. Maintain workplace cleanliness, including wiping down and disinfecting shared surfaces and sweeping the front drive to remove debris. Identify and recommend operational improvements. Document and report team member performance, policy violations, safety concerns, guest incidents, and operational observations to the Assistant Parking Manager and/or Site Manager. Complete any additional duties assigned by APS management.Pay:
$19.50 per hour and opportunities to advance within the Company!Shifts:
