Position:
A LAZ Parking Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. We provide a warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance. What Will I Do? Help direct heavy traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized. Direct tenants and visitors to available parking spaces and assist with any parking-related questions. Movement of blocked vehicles for visitors & tenants quickly and efficiently. Control heavy traffic at entrances and exits as needed. Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision. Promote awesome customer relations. Handle & Monitor keys for all vehicles. Provide tenants/visitors with parking tickets and the retrieval process. Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (at least 2 yrs) Strong customer service experience. Excellent communication skills. Comfortable with being on your feet, walking, dealing with visitors/tenants, and issuing parking notices to non-compliant vehicles. Ability to perform well under pressure, meeting tenant's expectations quickly while being polite, attentive, and friendly. Parking / automotive industry experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift. Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
