We will be working at Descanso Gardens for their Carved Events (Oct 2-Nov 1) and their Enchanted Events (Nov 22-Jan 9). We will be providing a combination of traffic directing and valet services for the guests of these events. Shifts will be daily, beginning about 3-5pm and ending around 8-10pm. We are looking for candidates who would like to have a set schedule every week and willing to work both events. Once the events are over, we would like to welcome you to our team for other locations as well.

Key Responsibilities Customer Excellence:

Warmly greet guests, open doors, and provide directions or assistance.

Vehicle Handling:

Safely park and retrieve a wide range of vehicles (including luxury sedans, SUVs, and manual transmissions) in tight or high-volume environments.

Inspections:

Conduct quick visual inspections of vehicles for pre-existing damage and document them accurately.

Security:

Manage key organization and vehicle security protocols to ensure guest property is always protected.

Adaptability:

Go with the flow and attend to whats needed most in the moment.

Qualifications & Requirements Driver's License:

Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).

Experience:

Ability to drive both automatic and manual (stick-shift) transmissions is highly preferred.( Stick-shift and prior valet experience required for supervisors)

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods in various weather conditions.(lifting up to 50 lbs).

Emotional Intelligence:

Ability to remain calm and smiling during high-pressure rushes.

Professionalism:

Well-groomed appearance and excellent communication skills.

Age:

Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred). Salary range $19 - $21 per hour +
