Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Parking Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, managing parking operations, and ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles in and out of our parking facilities. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality and customer service skills while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing clear directions and assistance as needed Safely operate parking equipment and vehicles, including manual transmission cars, to park and retrieve vehicles efficiently Manage parking lot traffic flow to prevent congestion and ensure safety for all users Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper records Assist guests with questions about parking policies, directions, or local area information using strong communication skills Monitor the parking area regularly to identify any safety concerns or maintenance issues and report them promptly Maintain a clean, organized parking environment by performing routine inspections and ensuring signage is visible and accurate Support additional guest services activities such as delivering vehicles to designated areas or assisting with special event parking needs Use retail math skills to manage small cash transactions confidently and accurately during busy periods Bilingual communication skills are a plus to serve diverse guests effectively Qualifications Proven experience in guest services, hospitality, or customer service roles preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable Ability to operate parking equipment safely and efficiently in parking facilities Ability to pass background screening Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and team members Experience working as a delivery driver or in dealership environments is advantageous Cash handling experience with familiarity in cashiering and retail math principles Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance guest interactions in a multicultural setting Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods during shifts Minimum age of 20+ Prior valet experience is a must Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valet experience is required. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry heavy items, up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to pass a background screening. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
