$17.40/hour +
Tips Schedule:
Part-Time (Friday-Sunday) & Full-Time (Open Availability)
Location:
La Bahia Hotel, Santa Cruz, CA LAZ Parking is hiring a Valet Attendant to support guest arrival and departure experiences at La Bahia Hotel in Santa Cruz . This position plays a key role in daily hotel operations by assisting guests with vehicle parking services during peak weekend business periods. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a hospitality-focused environment, can remain professional in fast-paced settings, and takes pride in providing attentive guest service. Position Responsibilities Provide a professional and welcoming experience for hotel guests upon arrival and departure. Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles while following company and property procedures. Manage vehicle staging areas and assist with traffic flow during busy service periods. Respond to guest questions regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions. Maintain accurate vehicle location awareness and ticket information. Coordinate with hotel staff to ensure efficient guest service and smooth daily operations. Report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or operational issues promptly. Uphold company standards related to safety, appearance, and customer service. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience. Ability to safely operate a variety of passenger vehicles. Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions. Ability to remain on your feet for the majority of a shift. Availability to work Friday through Sunday, including evenings and holidays as needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in valet, hospitality, guest services, parking, retail, or customer-facing roles. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Compensation and Benefits $17.40 hourly wage plus tip earnings.
