Job Summary Join our team as a Detailer/Lot Attendant! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of our vehicles, sales and service lots. Your contributions to automotive care and customer service will help create a positive experience for every visitor. This position also offers an exciting opportunity to later develop your skills into a lube tech or vehicle maintenance technician. Duties Perform exterior vehicle washing using appropriate cleaning equipment to ensure vehicles are spotless and well-presented. Conduct details using automotive buffers to restore shine and remove minor imperfections. Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning seats, carpets, windows, and other surfaces to deliver a fresh, pristine look. Operate standard passenger cars and manual transmission vehicles safely within the lot and during test drives if required. Maintain the cleanliness of the lot by organizing vehicles, removing debris, and ensuring all areas are tidy and inviting. Follow safe work practices at all times, including proper use of cleaning equipment and adherence to safety protocols in an auto detailing facility or car wash environment. Qualifications Prior experience in auto detailing, car wash operations, or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of standard passenger car operation and manual transmission driving is advantageous. Strong understanding of safe work practices related to vehicle handling and cleaning procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances the customer experience. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and operate cleaning equipment efficiently.
