Position Summary The Ski Valet provides exceptional guest service by assisting guests with storing, maintaining, and transporting their ski and snowboard equipment. This role ensures a seamless and enjoyable mountain experience by offering quick, friendly, and knowledgeable support throughout a guest's stay. Key Responsibilities Guest Service Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with unloading ski/snowboard equipment. Provide clear information about resort amenities, ski storage procedures, and mountain conditions. Deliver prompt, courteous service and maintain a strong customer-focused attitude. Equipment Handling Tag, store, organize, and retrieve guests' ski and snowboard equipment efficiently. Assist with transporting equipment to/from guest vehicles, shuttles, or slopeside access. Ensure equipment is stored safely and securely; maintain a clean and organized ski valet area. Support guests with boot fittings, gear setup, and minor adjustments when appropriate. Operations & Safety Maintain accurate equipment logs and follow established tracking procedures. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of ski storage areas, lobby, and surrounding spaces. Follow safety guidelines for lifting, handling gear, and navigating icy conditions. Communicate any maintenance issues, lost equipment, or guest concerns to management promptly. Qualifications Previous hospitality, customer service, or outdoor recreation experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions for extended periods. Must be able to lift 40+ lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, and walking. Successful completion of criminal and motor vehicle background check At least 18 years old Valid Driver's License
