About the
Role:
The Clubhouse Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming, clean, and well-organized environment for all clubhouse guests and members. This position is responsible for maintaining the clubhouse facilities, assisting guests with their needs, and supporting the overall operations to enhance the member experience. The attendant will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing courteous and professional service while managing clubhouse amenities efficiently. They will also collaborate with other staff to ensure that events and daily activities run smoothly. Ultimately, the Clubhouse Attendant contributes to creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere that encourages member satisfaction and retention.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse groups of people. Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a recreational or club environment. Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards applicable to clubhouse operations. Basic first aid or CPR certification. Proficiency with scheduling or facility management software. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival, providing information about clubhouse facilities and services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse, including common areas, restrooms, and event spaces. Monitor clubhouse amenities and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management. Support event setup and breakdown as needed, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly arranged. Manage inventory of clubhouse supplies and notify management when replenishment is required. Enforce clubhouse policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members. Respond to member inquiries and resolve minor issues or escalate them to appropriate personnel. Other duties as assigned.

The Clubhouse Attendant uses strong interpersonal and communication skills daily to engage with members and guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Organizational skills are essential for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the clubhouse, as well as managing supplies and supporting event logistics. Attention to detail helps in identifying maintenance issues and enforcing clubhouse policies effectively. Physical stamina and the ability to perform light manual tasks are necessary to carry out cleaning and setup duties efficiently. Additionally, problem-solving skills enable the attendant to address member concerns and unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.
