Overview As a Parking Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient parking experience for our customers. Valet parking for an hourly rate plus tips or a higher hourly rate for directed self-parking events. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with parking their vehicles. Park and retrieve vehicles in a timely manner. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area. Monitor vehicle security and report any suspicious activity. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall customer satisfaction. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Parking Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the parking area, assisting customers with parking needs, and ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests. A background in hospitality or retail is preferred, as well as experience with cash registers and retail math. Responsibilities Greet customers upon arrival and provide assistance with parking their vehicles. Monitor the parking area to ensure all vehicles are parked safely and efficiently. Manage the flow of traffic in and out of the parking lot, directing vehicles as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area. Communicate effectively with customers to address any questions or concerns regarding parking services. Drive vehicles as necessary, including operating manual transmission vehicles if required. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience as a delivery driver or in a dealership environment is a plus. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining professionalism at all times.
