Valet Captain Riverside Casino & Golf Resort - 3.8 Muscatine, IA Job Details Full-time $11.50 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Computer operation Customer communication Regulatory compliance Adhering to traffic regulations Vehicle codes Computer skills Manual transmission Traffic laws Full Job Description Responsible for supervising Valet and Shuttle team members, preparing team members for daily activity, and making sure that the department adheres to all regulations, company policies, and procedures. Responsible for parking and retrieving guests' vehicles during peak times and when short staffed, greeting guests, and ensuring timely service.
Schedule:
Full Time to include evenings and weekends
Salary:
$11.50 (including premium pay) plus tips
Essential Functions:
Provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers, resolving guest complaints and taking appropriate actions. Demonstrates an ability to lead, motivate, and direct Valet Services Attendants and Shuttle Drivers during the shift. Assists Valet Services Manager in supervising, coaching, developing, and evaluating team members. Ensures that all vehicles are checked for damage, ticketed, locked, and keys are returned to Valet Booth. Responsible for dress code and appearance standards of all department members. Responsible for accurate data reporting, including employee attendance, disciplinary actions, and tips received on shift. Coordinates employee schedules, uniforms, and training. Facilitate resolution of employee relations issues and employee/supervisor conflict. Works closely with other department supervisors and maintains open communication to efficiently supervise the department. Ensures the safety and security of guests and their vehicles. Maintain good and effective work ethics as a valet attendant to reflect and uphold the role of a supervisor when asked to fill that position on any given shift.
Required:
Clean Motor Vehicle Record for 3 years, and ability to operate vehicles with manual or automatic transmission. Thorough knowledge of driving/roadway laws and regulations. Basic computer skills. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate an ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
Preferred:
Supervisory experience in the casino environment. #hc259704
