Job Description

Overview The Parking Lot Attendant is an event-based position that oversees event day traffic and parking operations across the surface lots at the Tyson Events Center. This position provides hands-on operational support to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused parking services during events and daily operations. This is a part-time role with scheduling based on events. Our regular event season runs from September through May. This position requires working outside in a wide range of weather conditions. This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00.

401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until October 23, 2026. Responsibilities Control/monitor vehicle entry to assigned parking lot(s). Quickly process cashless transactions with a mobile point-of-sale device. Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering world-class service. Monitoring parking lots for safety and security of guests and employees and vehicles. Provide guests with directions and other venue information. Direct guests and employees to available parking spaces. Respond to guest questions and concerns in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. Maintain a neat and clean appearance during all scheduled shifts. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior parking experience is a plus. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Ability to lean how to operate a smartphone-like point of sale device Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and working outside in varying weather conditions. Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items as needed.
