Job Description

Orchard Valley Golf Course , located in Aurora, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for an Outside Guest Service Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation:
$15.00 - $16.22 per hour Description These team members guide players to the first tee at their scheduled times and provide friendly, knowledgeable service throughout the golf experience. In addition, they will help with the golf cart fleet, supporting the driving range, and upholding the resort's high standards of service and presentation.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
Valid driver's license required (if operating golf carts or range equipment) Strong work ethic, dependable, and team-oriented Friendly personality with a passion for working with the public Organized and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Guest service mindset with strong customer orientation Ability to enforce course policies, rules, and etiquette with professionalism Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Safe and proper use of equipment and tools Knowledge of the game of golf preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Always maintain a professional and polished appearance Greeting members/guests warmly and assist with check-in process Directs start of play when necessary Provide scorecards, pencils, and course information as needed Guide players to the first tee and communicate course policies, conditions, and pace-of-play expectations Correspond pace of play to player assistance, to help slower groups, and promote a smooth flow on the course Communicate updates to Golf Shop staff regarding pace of play or course activity Support golf tournaments and group play coordination Deliver exceptional customer service, answer questions, and provide directions or assistance Ensure members/guests are following course rules and golf etiquette Prepare, stage, clean, and maintain the golf cart fleet Keep the cart barn and range area clean, organized, and well-stocked Collaborate with Golf Shop and Golf Operations staff to deliver seamless guest experience Communicate guest feedback or complaints to Golf Operations leadership Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management Why Join Us?
