Full Time Lot Attendant / Detail Team Member - Chevy of Bloomington The Sam Leman Automotive Group is one of the largest volume automotive groups in Central Illinois. We have been family owned since 1963 with 13 dealerships across Central Illinois. We are a premier family-owned automotive group employing nearly 700 talented individuals, and we recently celebrated over 60 years in business! Currently, our Chevy of Bloomington dealership is looking for an individual to join our detail team while also assisting our sales team as a full-time lot attendant. If you enjoy awesome cars, trucks, and SUVs and take pride in keeping vehicles clean and presentation-ready, this is the opportunity for you! Responsibilities Place vehicles in proper inventory positions as directed Keep equipment in good working order Install sales price mirror signs when required Strip all new vehicles of plastics and stickers for front lot display Assist in physically delivering vehicles to final destinations when required Report all lot damage or vehicle malfunctions to management Deliver damaged or malfunctioning vehicles to the Service Department Ensure demo line vehicles are maintained in a presentable fashion including fuel and cleanliness Ensure walkways and showroom entrances are free of debris, ice, and snow at all times Ensure all landscape areas are free of debris, weeds, and trash Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Friendly with a positive, professional attitude Willing to take initiative and assist across departments Strong communication skills Great organizational skills Ability to multitask, follow direction, adapt to change, and work effectively under pressure Committed to teamwork Professional and well-groomed appearance Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred Benefits This isn't just a job — it's a career.
