Job Description
Burnham Woods Golf Course in Burnham, Illinois is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time Cart Attendant ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Must have strong customer/guest orientation Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be dependable Must have a valid driver's license Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely Maintains a professional appearance Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day Cleans, waters, and checks carts after each use and restocks as required Cleans and maintains the cart barn Ensures carts are available for player use at all times Receives and communicates complaints to the Golf Shop Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management Gas carts, wash and wax carts, clean all trash out of carts, and store and lock carts at the end of the day Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager Regular and reliable attendance Must be able to work closing shifts and weekends Employees age 19+ are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
