About Us Genesis of Highland Park is a family-owned Genesis retailer and part of Gregory Auto Group, a third-generation dealership group serving the North Shore since 1968. We're growing, and our goal is to be the leader in the Genesis space for Chicago and southern Wisconsin. Our customers expect a luxury experience from the moment they pull onto the lot, and our porters are the first and last people they see. The Role As a Porter / Lot Attendant, you keep the lot, vehicles, and facility looking showroom-ready and help the sales and service teams move vehicles safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on, on-your-feet role for someone who takes pride in a clean lot and a well-presented car. What You'll Do Greet service customers at the drive, tag vehicles, and move them to and from the service lane and parking areas Stage, park, and organize new and pre-owned inventory on the lot and in the showroom Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles for delivery, service returns, and lot presentation Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery, including fuel, plates, and final inspection Shuttle customers and pick up/deliver vehicles locally as needed Keep the lot, service drive, and showroom clean, snow-cleared, and free of debris Track and report vehicle locations and keys accurately Assist with dealer trades, transport drop-offs, and inventory audits Support sales, service, and management with other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and standing/walking for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude Professional appearance and a customer-first mindset Prior dealership, valet, car wash, or detail experience is a plus, but not required Must be 18 or older and pass a background check and drug screen
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
