As a Full-Time Dealership Service Porter at Grote Automotive , you'll be an important part of keeping our service department running smoothly and our customers taken care of. You'll work alongside our service advisors and technicians , help move vehicles, keep the service area organized, and make sure vehicles are clean and ready for customers. You'll stay busy, work with a great team, and play a hands-on role in creating a positive experience for every customer who comes through our doors. Responsibilities:

What Will You Be Doing? As a Service Porter , you'll keep vehicles moving, help the service team stay on track, and make sure our customers have a great experience.

Your day may include:

Welcoming customers — greet customers and help point them in the right direction. Moving vehicles — safely move vehicles to and from the service area, lot, and customer pickup areas. Keeping vehicles ready — make sure vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for customers. Keeping the lot looking sharp — maintain a clean, organized, and safe dealership lot. Supporting the service team — deliver parts, tools, and other items where they're needed. Working with technicians and advisors — help keep vehicles and the service process moving efficiently. Reporting issues — let the service team know about any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns you notice. You'll be on the move, working with a great team, and helping make sure the dealership keeps running smoothly!

Qualifications:

What Are We Looking For? You don't need years of automotive experience to join our team. We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, safety-minded, and ready to stay busy.

The ideal candidate will have:

A valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong attention to detail and a willingness to keep things clean and organized A positive, customer-friendly attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and take direction Dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but it's not required.
