Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service to meet the wants and needs of every person who walks through the doors of our modern and spacious fully equipped dealership. Our organization is currently seeking a Lot Porter/Maintenance Person for our Wabash, IN location. The right candidate will maintain responsibility for moving units around the dealership to meet the needs of sales, service, and customers safely.

Essential Duties:

Park and move RV units in a timely fashion. Maintains weekly lot washes and ensures all units and isles are clean. Writes work orders, tracks problems, and ensures units are in proper working order. Picks up trash and debris, empties garbage cans, keeps lot clean and professional in appearance. Keeps units and equipment secure from weather. Identifying units prior to transport. Making damage inspections and ensuring drivability or transportability. If transport hauling, ensure the recreational vehicle is safely placed as directed. Maintains a safe and clean work area for customers and employees.

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

Washing vehicles and cleaning interior Check fluid levels in units. Towing / use of yard tractor and/or forklift Driving RV's Foster a team environment with sales and service. Identify sales and service opportunities to grow Zoomers. Other duties as assigned by management as needed.

Requirements/Key Competencies:

Clear and concise written and verbal communication with attention to detail. Results driven and motivated for exceptional customer service & sales. Effectively manages responsibilities with time management to reach goals. Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy. Proficiency in using computerized systems. Develop knowledge of the units to help customers with general questions. The employee must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Towing experience Forklift and/or yard tractor experience Experience in using generators and operating slide-outs. Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record. Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong organizational skills. Previous experience in RV or Automotive industry preferred. Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending. Must have a strong work ethic and a hunger to succeed in a team environment.
