Job Description

We are seeking a Parking Lot Attendant to work in the Worcester area. This position involves being outside for the duration of your shift - collecting payment for parking and ensuring arriving vehicles are parked in the appropriate areas. The attendant will also assist in directing them into available spaces, and other tasks as directed by management. This is a PT position, shifts are 5pm-8pm Friday & Saturday nights - with more hours also needed when events are taking place. Events are typically nights and weekend days, and may require the attendant to stay past 8pm. Pay starts at $18/hour. Staff can expect to be outside for the duration of their shift. Customer Service Experience is a must. Security experience is a plus. Why work for VPA?

  • Scholarship Opportunities Lot Attendant --Job Description The job responsibilities of a lot attendant may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work.
The responsibilities include the following:
o Greeting all patrons to a facility in a polite manner and providing them with assistance or instructions o Directing traffic, pointing patrons into parking spots o Being outside and visible for the duration of a scheduled shift o Filling out necessary paperwork involved in daily operations o Providing umbrella service for patrons on rainy days o Providing security services and contacting police/management in the event of an intrusion o Recording vehicle counts o Communicating effectively with customers and coworkers. This includes radio contact. o Helping customers if they are in distress o Putting out necessary equipment at the beginning of a shift and putting it away at the end of a shift (i.e. signs, cones etc.) o Maintain a professional appearance and be polite and courteous Questions?
