Overview Join our dynamic team as a SLICE Parking Lot Ambassador in College Park, MD, where you will be the friendly face ensuring smooth and efficient parking operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the community, enhance customer experiences, and maintain safe and organized parking environments. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors while supporting parking management efforts.
Responsibilities What You'll Do:
Help customers with Scan2Park QR parking, payments and comp/validation codes. Answer questions and provide friendly, professional customer service. Monitor the lot to make sure vehicles have paid and are within their purchased time. Issue notices of fines for unpaid or overstayed parking. Keep the lot clean, organized and presentable. Report signage, maintenance or other operational issues to the SLICE team.
What We're Looking For:
Friendly, dependable and comfortable working independently. Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable using a smartphone and learning simple technology. Able to enforce parking rules calmly and consistently. Comfortable walking and working outdoors throughout the shift. Customer service, hospitality, retail, parking or similar experience is a plus. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer service, operations and management with a growing parking technology company. Qualifications Valid driver's license with experience in standard passenger car operation and driving in outdoor environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Experience in parking lot monitoring, valet parking, or dealership/retail environments is a plus. Prior outdoor work experience demonstrating reliability and adaptability in various weather conditions. Excellent conflict management skills with a professional attitude towards customer interactions. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
