POSITION

The Lot Attendant assists with receiving new inventory, verifying accessories are included, and arranging vehicles to optimize lot space. Success in this role requires accountability and prudence in a fast-paced environment. Top candidates are proficient multitaskers who stay organized and maintain a high level of accuracy while delivering excellent service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive questions to the appropriate person Move and park cars on the lot Keep track of inventory and location of vehicles, update systems as necessary to reflect current location Make sure lot is neat and presentable, cars parked nicely, etc. Driving and handling all cars responsibly to ensure damage prevention, and protecting dealership property at all times Identify and seek out any issues or potential problems with vehicles and work to get them resolved Ensure all vehicles are 'test drive' ready and checklist items are complete on all vehicles Ensuring the cleanliness of the interiors and exteriors of cars on the lot Driving off-site to run dealership errands when required Affixing dealership license plates to all vehicles Battery jump start cars on occasion Informing supervisor of issues as they arise Printing and placing vehicle window stickers in all vehicles available for sale Maintain clean and presentable work area Maintain proper key inventory, resolving issues for any missing keys Take preliminary and final pictures of vehicles for company marketing/website Complying with all company policies and procedures Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Maryland driver's license and clean driving record Working knowledge of basic car maintenance preferred Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Willingness to learn and perform a range of assigned tasks Comfortable using basic computer systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Solid organizational skills and problem-solving ability Ability to lift 40 pounds or more Ability to drive manual transmission preferred Spanish speaking a plus Previous experience as a car porter, valet attendant, or similar preferred

SCHEDULE

The weekly schedule may flex slightly but will generally run as follows, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break daily. Monday through

Friday:

9 AM - 6 PM (

Saturday:

9 AM - 4

PM Sundays:

OFF

•There will be one recurring weekday off, we are currently looking to fill 2 positions so this day is TBD.
