Service Department Valet / Lot Porter Landers Jackson | Jackson, MS Landers Jackson is looking for a dependable, professional Service Department Valet / Lot Porter to join our team. This is a full-time position supporting our busy Service Department. In addition to maintaining vehicle and lot organization, this position will assist with the movement of customer vehicles and provide shuttle transportation for customers when needed. Because this is a customer-facing driving position, we are looking for someone who is experienced behind the wheel, responsible, courteous, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
General Responsibilities:
Shuttle service customers to and from the dealership in a safe, courteous, and professional manner Move customer vehicles to designated areas throughout the Service Department Assist with vehicle flow and traffic around the service drive and dealership lots Maintain organization and order of vehicles on dealership property Assist with inventory management and lot supervision Check in new vehicles arriving from carriers as needed Help keep dealership lots and vehicle staging areas clean and organized Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers and dealership personnel
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Must be able to pass a background check Previous Lot Porter, Lot Attendant, Valet, or similar dealership experience required At least 5 years of driving experience preferred Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles Ability to operate both standard and automatic transmission vehicles Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work outdoors and remain on your feet for extended periods Join the Landers Team!
