JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the General Manager, responsible for the sale of pro shop items, collection of fees, registration of players, assigning tee times to the golfers, checking in golfers. Weekend available required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer telephone and take starting time reservations Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. Communicates in a clear and professional manner that assists guests in playing the course. Check in players and assign them their tee time Collect all money for green fees, programs, rental, and pro shop sales. Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop Maintain daily records and reports Ensure pro shop is stocked of merchandise in a presentable way. Coordinates with Outside Service Attendant to maintain a consistent level of cart availability and to ensure guests are following the rules. Communicates to Course Attendant about any changes to the tee sheet or any updates that need to be addressed on the course. Maintains good personal hygiene, reports to work wearing a clean, neat attire that follows country club standards. Ability to explain golf products and services and other information about North Shore Golf Club to all guests. Remain courteous with patrons at all times Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent Experience as cashier/clerk preferred General knowledge of the game of golf

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Demonstrated skills in the proper handling of money Working knowledge of basic computer programs Ability to work unsupervised
