Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Valet Parking Attendant, where your energetic and friendly approach will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, providing exceptional guest services while efficiently managing parking operations. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help ensure a smooth, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills and gain valuable experience in hospitality and automotive services. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with a positive attitude and assist with parking their vehicles promptly and safely. Operate standard passenger cars and manual transmission vehicles with confidence and precision. Safely park and retrieve vehicles, including those requiring heavy lifting or outdoor maneuvering. Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash, making change, and managing receipts. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, offering directions, and ensuring a welcoming experience. Maintain clear communication with team members to coordinate vehicle movement efficiently. Ensure the parking area remains organized, clean, and safe at all times by adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in valet parking, guest services, hospitality, or dealership environments is preferred. Must have own transportation to and from work. Must have flexible schedule and be willing to work different shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating standard passenger cars and manual transmissions is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move or assist with vehicle handling. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience in outdoor work environments and handling cash transactions confidently. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse guest populations. Knowledge of automotive service or delivery driver experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
