Job Description

Service Porter Join Our Service Team Germain Volkswagen of Westerville is seeking motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Service Porters to join our professional service team. This role is essential to delivering a first-class customer experience by ensuring the service drive, customer vehicles, and dealership grounds are clean, organized, safe, and operating efficiently each day. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, team-driven, and takes pride in creating a positive experience for every customer who visits our dealership. Key Responsibilities Assist Service Advisors and Service Greeters by moving customer vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the service department Maintain organization and traffic flow within the service drive and main service areas Prepare customer vehicles with protective seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats prior to service work Wash, vacuum, and prepare customer vehicles for delivery as requested Ensure customer vehicles are parked properly and secured at all times Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the service drive, parking areas, customer waiting areas, and dealership grounds Assist with snow removal, salting, and weather-related cleanup to ensure safe customer access during inclement weather Create and manage key tags for service vehicles Support technicians, advisors, and management with daily operational needs Perform regular inspections of dealership grounds and promptly report any safety concerns or vehicle damage Follow all dealership safety procedures and driving policies Deliver professional, friendly, and courteous interactions with customers and team members Assist with additional departmental and operational duties as needed Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Benefits Overview Benefits Eligible First Day of Employment Germain Automotive Partnership is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) with eligibility after 30 days of employment Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Discounts State-of-the-Art Technology and Facilities Career Growth and Advancement Opportunities Why Join Germain Automotive Partnership? Requirements:
Qualifications Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the workday in varying weather conditions Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
