Job Description
Job Summary An auto porter is essentially a jack-of-all trades or handyman at a car dealership. While the specific duties may vary a bit, the general role of the porter is to help the manager ensure that all cars on the lot are well-maintained, in excellent working condition and clean for effective merchandising to customers.
Responsibilities and Duties Duties include:
- Washing and detailing cars
- Moving around inventory
- Lot maintenance
- Running Errands
- Filling up cars with gas/diesel
- Some Building Maintenance Qualifications and Skills Requirements Must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Clean driving record
- Background check required
- Current, valid Oklahoma driver's license.
