Overview :

Family Auto of Spartanburg is seeking a lot technician for our location. Light/basic mechanical repair experience is required. Must have an acceptable 3-year driving record. Lot technicians work with partnered repair facilities to get vehicles repaired, and return them to the dealership. Any Automotive repair experience isa benefit. This is a Monday-Friday 9am-6pm position with Saturdays as needed from 9am-3pm. 40 hours a week maximum.

Duties:

Detailing Vehicles Driving, arranging, and organizing vehicles Assist with vehicle deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely and secure transportation between locations or to customers Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including washing, detailing, and inspecting vehicles as needed Provide excellent guest services by greeting customers, answering questions about vehicles, and directing them appropriately Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and ensure smooth lot operations Ability to do basic diagnostics using provided equipment Ability to do minor automotive repairs onsite with equipment provided.

Skills:

Proven experience in guest services or hospitality environments with strong customer service skills Valid driver's license with experience driving manual transmission vehicles; familiar with parking regulations Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers, team members, and management Prior dealership or delivery driver experience is highly desirable Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in vehicle presentation and lot maintenance
