Job Description

Geddes Farmers Co-op is looking for a dependable Shop Attendant to support our Station and Shop operations in Geddes, SD. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with equipment, learning new skills, and taking on additional responsibility over time. Compensation & Benefits $55,000-$60,000 per year Employer-paid health and vision coverage Retirement plan with employer contribution Paid vacation leave Paid personal leave Paid sick leave Opportunities for advancement and additional responsibility What You'll Do As a Shop Attendant, you'll help keep equipment and day-to-day shop operations running smoothly.
Your responsibilities may include:
Servicing and maintaining agricultural vehicles and equipment Changing fluids and performing routine service work Assisting with agricultural vehicle and equipment tire changes and repairs Helping maintain a clean, safe and organized shop Supporting Station/Elevator operations as needed Assisting customers and team members with day-to-day needs Learning additional equipment, shop and operational responsibilities Grow Your Skills and Advance We're willing to help the right person build additional skills and take on more responsibility. Obtaining a CDL with Hazmat endorsement can open the door to additional opportunities and faster advancement within the operation. A background in farming, agriculture, mechanics or equipment is helpful, but it is not required. We're looking for someone dependable, willing to learn and comfortable with hands-on work. Geddes Farmers Co-op offers the opportunity to build a long-term career in a close-knit agricultural community.
