Full Job Description I Notes:
JOBSUMMARY
The Rest Stop Attendant will be responsible for cleaning the public and office areas of the Tennessee Rest Stop. The Rest Stop Attendant will provide a clean, safe and attractive environment for the public, visitors and Rest Stop employees. Operation of heavy duty motorized equipment; refinishing floors and floor care experience are essential duties.
JOB DUTIES
Dust mops, wet mops and sweeps floors. Collects and transports trash, cleans/relines trash containers with plastic bags inside and/or outside the building. Washes sinks and other plumbing fixtures and replaces disposables such as: paper towels, soap and toilet paper. Completes all cleaning duties such as dusting, cleaning and polishing furniture; polish metal or other bright surfaces that collect dust; clean mirrors and windows. Maintains and stores equipment ina clean, safe condition. Utilizes detergents, disinfectants, polishes finishes, etc. Strips, waxes and buffs floors. Operates heavy duty floor machinery. Shampoos carpets. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to operate heavy duty machinery. Pulling, pushing, lifting, bending, standing, stooping.
WORKING CONDITIONS
lnside and outside work Dust, dirt, chemicals and sharp objects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience preferred, but not required. Motivated with the desire to help others, particularly those with disabilities. Must pass IRS security requirements.
