Job Summary:

The valet attendant is expected to approach vehicles and greet guests with a positive attitude upon arrival. The vehicle doors are opened, guests are greeted in a friendly manner, and a valet ticket is issued. Assistance is offered as needed (wheelchairs, walkers, gifts, etc) by the valets. All vehicles are carefully parked, the doors are locked, and the keys brought back to a secure area where they are hung on the podium/key box along with the ticket stub. When guests are ready to leave, they hand their valet ticket to an attendant who retrieves their car and provides the same friendly service offered upon arrival. Every Harbor Parking site operates different than the next. The level of service remains the same.

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License At least 18 years or older

Abilities:

Ability to operate manual transmitted vehicles (stick shift) is preferred but not required Ability to work in a team setting Quick on their feet and able to get the vehicle to customer in a timely manner Ability to be flexible and dependable on the job Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once when needed Ability to verbally communicate with guests Ability to start ASAP is preferred
