Building Attendant I - Field House

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of 8th grade; no experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Two years of relevant experience.
• Job Summary:
• To provide routine manual services to assure clean, orderly, and sanitary conditions in and around buildings.
• Job Duties:
• + Cleans and services the entire Field House, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other public areas as needed.

+ Dust mops, wet mops, polish, vacuums, and shampoos carpets, rugs, and furniture.

+ Cleans and disinfects walls, ceilings, and furniture.

+ Cleans all horizontal and vertical surfaces as needed.

+ Maintains pool area, sweeps pool, hoses down pool deck.

+ Checks CO2 gauges, checks chlorine level in tanks, able to read gauges on the pump and understand what those numbers mean.

+ Maintains maintenance sheds on the Fields to make sure they stay neat and orderly.

+ Maintains housekeeping equipment and utility closets in an orderly and clean manner.

+ Makes sure equipment is working, and all equipment not working is reported to the Front Desk.

+ Adheres to internal controls established for the department.

+ Cover the reception area on occasion as needed.

+ Performs related duties as required.

• Working Environment and Conditions:
• + Will be required to work overtime.

+ Exposure to adverse weather conditions - extreme heat/cold and rain.

+ Heavy lifting required: 25 to 50 lbs. frequently; up to 100 lbs. occasionally. +

Walking:

50 to 75% time. +

Bending/Stooping/Crouching:

25 to 50% time. +

Climbing:

15% to 20% time. +

Pushing/Pulling Objects:

25 to 50% time.

• Salary Range:
• Actual salary is commensurate with experience.
• Work Schedule:
• 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
