Job Description

Service Porter Position Summary The Service Porter is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the dealership's service department by maintaining the appearance of customer vehicles, organizing the service drive, and assisting service advisors and technicians. This role helps ensure an exceptional customer experience through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival. Move customer and dealership vehicles safely between the service drive, parking areas, and service bays. Keep the service drive, customer waiting area, and parking lot clean, organized, and presentable. Wash, vacuum, and prepare customer vehicles for delivery after service. Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are properly tagged and parked. Shuttle vehicles to and from other dealership locations or vendors as needed. Maintain cleanliness of loaner vehicles and dealership inventory. Support service advisors and technicians with miscellaneous tasks to improve workflow. Monitor parking areas and maintain an orderly vehicle inventory. Follow all dealership safety procedures and traffic regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by service management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday. Working Conditions Frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Regular walking, standing, and driving of dealership vehicles. Flexible schedule, including Saturdays, as required by dealership operations.
