Job Description
The Service Valet / Porter will check in customers vehicles left for repairs and final inspect repaired customer vehicles. Maintain the parking facility for service customer vehicles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the service parking area to allow customers easy access to the shop area. Park customer vehicles dropped off for repairs or estimates. Complete a check-in report for each vehicle dropped off for repairs. Document any old/unrelated damage on the vehicle. Document mileage and place a mirror tag and floor mat in each vehicle. Assist technicians in moving vehicles in and out of the shop area. Ensure all vehicles are secure and locked each night. Complete final checklist report on completed vehicles to ensure quality of repairs. Make management aware of any problems that arise on final inspection to ensure any problems are corrected prior to delivery of the vehicle to the customer. Deliver customer vehicles from parking lot to the cashier at time of pick up. Assist with pick up and delivery of vehicles when needed.
